The Pilates Studio:
REFORMER PILATES POLICIES 

As we continue to monitor The Pilates Studio at EFC we will implement and change policies as needed. Our goal is to ensure that all members and guests have a fair opportunity to experience class. These policies help us ensure that everyone time is respected and that our class schedule stays consistent.

✅ Reservations – Reformer Pilates classes will open up for reservations 48 hours before class start. We suggest looking over the schedule and setting alarms for when the class will open up. Once the 10 spots for class are filled for a class, members can join the waitlist. 

 

✅ Wait List – Members may join the waitlist for a full Reformer Pilates class. Members will be assigned a waitlist number in the order they reserve. By joining the waitlist, members are agreeing to be at the gym and ready to participate in class if there is a last minute cancellation. The member who holds the number 1 spot on the waitlist will be automatically moved into the class if there is a cancellation. If a member gets moved off the waitlist & into the class, a notification will be sent out via EFC’s Club Life App & email. Please make sure the correct email is linked to your Club Life profile. 

  •  Club Life Notifications: Please have push notifications for Club Life turned on your phone to receive real time waitlist changes.  

✅ Late Cancellations – Class Cancelations will be available through your Club Life App up to 8 hours before class start. If you need to cancel within 8 hours of class start, please call the front desk directly 706-288-2700 to avoid being charged a no-show fee. Class cancellations will not be available within 1 hour of class start & members will be charged a no show fee.   Class cancellations within 8 hours will not be available through your EFC Club Life App within this window. 

✅ No-Show Fee –  Members who reserve a Pilates Reformer class but do not attend class or fail to check in completely for class at the kiosk or via their Club Life App after checking in to the gym will automatically be charged a $10 no-show fee.

          • Please remember that class reservations are simply to hold your spot in class. Check in for class is REQUIRED once you arrive at the gym for class. 
          • Class Check In is available after gym check in, at the kiosks to the right of the front desk or via the Club Life App. 
          • Members who check in the gym can CHECK IN FOR CLASS through their Club Life App under “Check In” – class must be within 2 hours to check in via the app. 

✅ Late Arrivals – Members who arrive 5 minutes or more after class begins will lose their reserved spot and be charged a no-show fee. Reformer Pilates require set up time and arriving late disrupts the rest of the class. Members who are on the waitlist and are waiting outside of the class will be given open reformers at 5 minutes after class.

  • When an instructor starts a Pilates class they walk members through the footwork and a warmup. If a member arrives after that it is not safe to jump into class. 

 

Please note that it is the members full responsibility to check into both the gym and the class to avoid no show fees. 

 

As we continue to monitor Reformer Pilates classes we will continue to update and create new policies to keep these classes running smoothly. With Reformer Pilates being such a small class we are working to ensure that all our members and guests have the ability to take a class.
